Excellence Recognition

Recreational Services was nominated to enter the Westpac Auckland Business Awards. The nomination was made by a Chamber staff member, which is unique in itself and indicates the level to which our efforts are being noticed and recognised.

From the various categories available, we chose to enter the Excellence in Community Contribution category, as we believed our social outcome plan and track record in what we’ve practically done, along with our organisational narrative, was a good contender for this award. The entry entailed a formal submission outlining what Recreational Services contributes to the community and the various initiatives and partnerships we have in place, for example Blue Light, and our strong connection with our local communities.
