Commencing on 1st July 2022, this is a 10-year contract to maintain parks, reserves and facilities from Waiouru in the south to Ohura in the north.
Ruapehu is one of New Zealand's largest districts by land area (being 6,730 square kilometres) but has one of the smallest permanent population counts, made up of many small, diverse and geographically spread-out rural communities. Ruapehu District’s major centres are Taumarunui and Ohakune.
The scope of our services includes mowing, sports field management, cemetery services, horticulture, arboriculture, facilities, playground maintenance, hard-surface and asset maintenance.
The contract is comprised of 417 individual sites, 15 playgrounds, six sports grounds, 203 rubbish bins, 247 mowing sites, 10 cemeteries and 68 horticulture sites.
