Papamoa College

Recreation Services is responsible for the management and maintenance of all the school’s sports fields, which includes renovation reporting, soil testing and renovation services in order to keep the fields in top condition. Having a couch grass cover, the fields require a different management approach to standard ryegrass fields in New Zealand. Couch grass has great drought tolerance, which makes it ideal for the area's hot and dry summers.

We also maintain all other grass areas of the school, carry out garden maintenance work, as well as annual planting to keep gardens and shrubbery in great condition.
