Recreation Services' maintenance contract with Masterton District Council was won in 2018 and has contributed to the gaining of more knowledge and further reach throughout the country.
The Masterton District Council maintenance contract covers a land mass of 2298 square kilometres.
Services We Provide
The scope of our services includes full facility maintenance of parks and reserves, mowing, horticulture, arboriculture, cemeteries (including interments), sports parks, park assets, playgrounds and toilet blocks.
Parks Management and Maintenance
Includes mowing and horticulture maintenance for annuals, perennials, revegetation, roses, shrub gardens, hedges and specimen trees, along with asset maintenance, reporting and database management.
Sports Park Maintenance
Includes the care of nine sports parks, two cricket blocks, turf management, renovations, mowing, irrigation, bookings and facilities maintenance.
Cemetery Services
Responsible for the day-to-day care and upkeep of all five of Masterton’s cemeteries, including two rural cemeteries. Our team provides grave preparation and presentation services, public liaison with funeral directors, family members and cemetery visitors, as well as other administrative services such as record-keeping and plot allocation. We endeavour at all times to treat this most sensitive area of our business with the respect, tact and sensitivity it deserves.
Project Management & Construction
Project Management services from initial scoping & design through to physical construction on all parks infrastructure capital projects and renewals projects. Our team has a broad range of skills with a focus on Turf, Playgrounds, Soft & Hard Landscaping, Parks Furniture and Aboriculture.
Sanitation & Public Facilities Maintenance
We provide sanitation and facility maintenance services for local council public toilets and facilities.
